Trainer for working at height

Description

As a trainer at Névé, you will be required to :

  • Deliver training courses on working at height (EPC, PPE) in several languages (French and Dutch) in Belgium and Luxembourg;
  • Carry out activities relating to fall protection (safety sessions, workshops, toolbox meetings, etc.);
  • Supervise groups of adult trainees comprising 8 to 12 people;
  • Keep your knowledge of regulations, techniques and tools up to date;
  • Carry out administrative tasks (drafting reports, training materials, risk assessments, etc.);
  • Develop the training programme and teaching materials;
  • Take part in on-site inspections, audits and installations.

Profile

  • Are you not afraid to hit the road and travel around Belgium ?
  • Are you a good listener and focused on the needs of others ?
  • Can you communicate in several languages (FR, NL and/or EN) ?
  • Are you confident speaking in front of a group of adults ?
  • Can you explain complex theoretical concepts in simple terms and engage your audience using relevant examples ?
  • Are you a team player and open to others’ opinions?
  • Are you able to write emails, book appointments and manage your own schedule?
  • Are you proficient in basic software (Outlook, Dropbox, Google Drive, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) ?
  • Do you have a head for heights?
  • Do you have basic manual skills (using a hammer, angle grinder, drill, etc.) ?

  • With or without experience working at height! The main focus is on the candidate’s learning abilities, their ability to pass on knowledge and their ability to work as part of a team ;
  • With or without a qualification ;
  • Bilingual – priority will be given to candidates with a good command of Dutch.
