Qualified scaffolding worker: Working at height in total safety - Module WH 3

Our module 3 of the training course "Working at height in total safety", given by the IFAPME (Walloon institute for work-linked training, self-employed workers and SMEs) with the support of Constructiv, is designed to enable workers in the construction sector to inspect scaffolding and put it into service in order to work at height in total safety.

This module, which is part of a programme prepared by the Comité national d'Action pour la sécurité et l'hygiène dans la Construction (CNAC - National Action Committee for Safety and Hygiene in Construction) and Construtec Wallonie (training association set up on the initiative of the Walloon Construction Federation), includes drawing up assembly plans, analysing technical notices and understanding plans as well as classes on loads and lowering loads.

The course, which lasts 7 hours, is accessible upon request and a certificate is issued upon its completion.

We inform ‘Executing Staff’ and ‘Works Managers’ of the dangers and risks to be found on the Elia site while carrying out their activities.

The aim is to acquire the safety and communication skills with Elia to carry out the work.

Three profiles are proposed, based on the risk level involved in the activities: Post, Line and Cable.
